This installation regroups several elements that symbolise quietness, wellbeing, snow, play, holydays. We are in front of an illustration that we can find in many stories for children which is a small house in winter. It's an image from childhood, a soothing and innocent cliché. The building materials are cardbox, wood, polystyrene, plastic, and polystirene beads to replace snow. A small fire is build in front of the little house and it's that fire that is disturbing because beyond the symbolic figure of heat and confort, this fire creates tension, an atmosphere of latent danger. We suddenly realize that this harmless universe can flip to its opposite. We go from dream to reality, the reality of the materials there, the reality of the set. We realize that it's fake, the illustration.
